About Me

Cameras have always been a fun part of my life since early childhood, but it wasn't until 2009 that I really started to take a more professional interest.

I found that landscape photography was what really inspired me and this happily complimented my love of the outdoors and the wide open spaces. I feel that in the last couple of years, that I have made a start on capturing some of the local scenery around where I live in St Dominic, the wilds of Dartmoor and the beautiful coastline that we have here in Cornwall and in Devon. I feel that there is so much more yet to come though.

Discovering photography, whilst also being exposed to some particularly artistic family members has inspired me and brought out a very arty side that I never suspected I had. It is a most enjoyable journey to embark upon and I love every minute. Designing and building this website from scratch is something I would not have dreamed of even six months ago but here I am, where it will lead who knows?

As a photographer who only takes landscape photographs I was keen to become a little more 'rounded'. To that end I have recently embarked upon some studio work. This shocked the hell out me, principally because of how much I really enjoyed it. So you may see a studio gallery link at some point too.

This page is 'handbuilt'. I say that because all the coding has been done by hand in a text editor, no flashy third part software used here. Even the logo is designed by me - with a little help from Mr Adobe of course. So some patience is required, something I'm still learning...
